TFT Enchanted Wilds Enchanted Wilds Patch Schedule

Live 18.1, upcoming 18.2, and the rest of Set 18.

Patch Schedule

TFT Enchanted Wilds launched with patch 18.1 on August 26, 2026. That is still the live competitive patch as of this writing. The next named drop is patch 18.2 on September 10, 2026 (PT, Wednesday unless Riot delays). This page is the calendar. It is not 18.2 notes. When 18.2 exists, the changelog will get its own article and the comp tier list will move.

Riot usually ships TFT patches on Wednesdays, often alongside League of Legends, with a different numbering scheme: the first number is the set, the second is the patch inside that set. Delays are supposed to be announced within 48 hours of the scheduled date. Always confirm in the client.

Battle Pass Part I is scheduled through October 5, 2026 at 23:59 PT, which sits between 18.3 and 18.4. Pass dates belong on the Battle Pass page and in the client timer.

What 18.1 already did

18.1 is the systems patch: Wisps, returning Carousel, Opening Encounter cycle, Augment rotation, Radiant and Artifact tweaks, Unreal Engine launch, and a small Space Gods pass. The practical notes live on patch 18.1. Hotfixes on August 27 and 28 fixed memory leaks, Double Up being briefly disabled, loading spinners, and several ability bugs. Those hotfixes are still 18.1, not 18.2.

If your placements suddenly diverge from the comp list, check whether you are playing last week’s contest, not whether a secret patch landed. There is no 18.1B name in the public schedule; Riot can still ship silent live fixes.

What we know about 18.2 without inventing balance

Riot billed extra cosmetics for 18.2: Chibi Soul Fighter Jinx, Jinx’s Tournament of Chaos Arena, and Coven LeBlanc Unbound. Those may sit in the shop or a later Pass slice rather than on the Part I track. Cosmetic patches can also include champion and trait number changes. Until the official 18.2 article is up, do not memorize a leaked nerf as law.

When 18.2 drops, read it in this order:

  1. Did a Wisp rule change, or only a cost?
  2. Did Ahri, Veigar, Krug, Cassiopeia, or Yi move? Those are the patch 18.1 S-tier engines on the comp list.
  3. Did Blossom 7 gold or Riftbeast 10 team size change? Those breakpoints are on the Blossom and Riftbeast guides.
  4. Did Opening Encounters cycle again? See opening encounters.
  5. Did Double Up or another mode toggle?

Then update your default climb line in the ranked guide. Do not wait three days for a streamer if the patch text already nerfed your 3-star.

How to use this wiki across patches

Systems pages age slowly: Wisps, Carousel, positioning, items. Rank pages age fast: comps, champion grades, Augment picks. After each named patch, start at this hub, then the new notes page, then comps. Official URLs stay on links.

Space Gods remains playable for a limited overlap. 18.x notes that mention Twisted Fate or Milio are Set 17 maintenance, not Enchanted Wilds strategy.

Competitive days versus patch days

Ladder Snapshots are Tuesdays. Patches are usually Wednesdays. That means a snapshot can land on 18.1 and the next night can change the set. If you are playing for the September 8 snapshot, you are still on 18.1. If you are playing for September 15, 18.2 may already be live. The competitive page lists snapshot dates; this page lists patch dates. Do not mix them.

Set 19 is scheduled to start with 19.1 on December 1. Until then, Enchanted Wilds is the ranked set you should learn.
