Tier List Hub

Tier lists are how TFT Enchanted Wilds players decide what to play after the first carousel. Set 18 has 65 champions and more than 30 traits, so a screenshot of one streamer’s 1st is not a plan. This hub splits the ranking into three jobs: full compositions, individual champions, and the trait engines those boards are built on.

All three pages are snapshot rankings for patch 18.1, the launch patch that went live on August 26, 2026. Average placements move daily. Use the letter grades as a starting bias, then apply contesting rules from the ranked climb guide.

The three lists

  • Comp tier list — S through A lines such as Invoker Ahri, Riftbeast Sentinel, Defender Cassiopeia, and Sprykin Veigar, with tempo tags (Fast 8, roll 5, roll 7).
  • Champion tier list — which 4-costs and 5-costs actually cap a board, and which 1-costs are only openers.
  • Trait tier list — Blossom, Riftbeast, Coven, Elderwood, Sprykin, Eclipse, and the uniques that change positioning.

If you are new, read the getting started guide before this hub. A tier list without economy is how you 8th on an S-tier name.

How we grade Enchanted Wilds

S means the line has a strong average placement when copies are open. A means playable and often less contested. B means a directional bag that needs a specific Augment, Wisp sequence, or uncontested 3-star. We do not publish D-tier ragebait. If a vertical is weak, the trait page says so and points you at a splash instead of a 9-piece greed.

Tempo matters as much as the letter. Veigar at roll 5 and Ahri at Fast 8 can both be S and still be wrong in the same lobby. The reroll versus Fast 8 guide is the filter.

Using a list in a live game

  1. Play strongest Stage 2 board.
  2. Note which S-tier copies are already held.
  3. Pick the highest line that is still open.
  4. Slam items from the item recipes.
  5. Spend leftover gold on Wisps only when how Wisps work says the orb beats interest.

Come back after each patch. The patch 18.1 notes will tell you when a Radiant or Augment shift should move a letter grade. Until then, treat these lists as living defaults, not scripture.

Wisps can fake a stronger line than you actually have. A Combat orb that wins one fight does not turn a B-tier bag into S-tier. Grade the board after the Wisp expires, then decide whether to keep the vertical or pivot with the economy guide.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Enchanted Wilds players.

Which Enchanted Wilds tier list should I open first?

Open the comp tier list if you need a full board. Open champions if you only have a carry and items.

How often do these rankings change?

After each patch and whenever a line's average placement clearly moves. Patch 18.1 is the current baseline.

Why is my S-tier comp taking 8th?

It is contested, itemized late, or running the wrong tempo. Check ranked climb and reroll vs Fast 8.
